Objectives

Our Objectives

The principal objective of Thrive is to provide funding, as well as mentoring, for tertiary studies.

This is achieved through the following:

Providing financial contributions to young South African citizens or permanent residents who have a desire for a tertiary education;
Ensuring that selected students are provided with proper mentoring and sufficient support to enable them to complete the funded period of their tertiary education;
Developing a desire in young South African citizens and permanent residents to help one another, and provide them with an opportunity to do so; and
Identifying mentors who can give of their time on a medium/long-term basis as they support selected students throughout their tertiary education.
